The national 'Village BA' in 2025 will be launched in April

Recently, the China Farmers' Sports Association and the Group Department of the All China Sports Federation jointly announced that the 2025 Dadi Liucai · National and Beautiful Rural Basketball Competition (Village BA) will be held from April to October. The event will officially launch on April 13th in Taipan Village, Taijiang County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province, and the final will be held in October.
Recently, the China Farmers' Sports Association and the Group Department of the All China Sports Federation jointly announced that the 2025 Dadi Liucai · National and Beautiful Rural Basketball Competition (Village BA) will be held from April to October. The event will officially launch on April 13th in Taipan Village, Taijiang County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province, and the final will be held in October.
The competition is mainly divided into three stages. The first stage is from April to June, and various regions are encouraged to independently carry out basketball exchange activities in combination with agricultural leisure, agricultural seasons, and folk festivals. The second stage is from July to September, with regional competitions held. The northern competition area (held in Chenjia Village, Daling Town, Zhaoyuan City, Yantai City, Shandong Province), the central competition area (held in Xiaomo Village, Gaoleshan Town, Xianfeng County, Hubei Province), and the southern competition area (held in Aiguo Village, Xiaoping Town, Chenxi County, Hunan Province) will combine their respective regional cultural characteristics to fully showcase different themed "village BA" cultural venues. The third stage is the national finals, which will be held in October in Taipan Village, Taijiang County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province. In terms of team formation, teams will be formed based on county-level administrative regions, fully leveraging the demonstration and driving role of the national "Village BA" competition, and further expanding the scope of participation.
This competition is guided by the Rural Social Welfare Promotion Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Mass Sports Department of the General Administration of Sport of China. It is hosted by the Chinese Farmers' Sports Association in conjunction with the Group Department of the All China Sports Federation, with technical support provided by the Chinese Basketball Association.
