Recently, the Chinese Farmers' Sports Association and the Mass Sports Department of the All-China Sports Federation jointly announced that the 2025 Dadi Liulai - National Harmonious and Beautiful Rural Basketball Tournament (Village BA) will be held from April to October. The event will officially kick off in Taipan Village, Taijiang County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province on April 13th, and the finals will be held in October.
Recently, the Chinese Farmers' Sports Association and the Mass Sports Department of the All-China Sports Federation jointly announced that the 2025 Dadi Liulai - National Harmonious and Beautiful Rural Basketball Tournament (Village BA) will be held from April to October. The event will officially kick off in Taipan Village, Taijiang County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province on April 13th, and the finals will be held in October.
The competition is mainly divided into three stages. The first stage is from April to June. It encourages localities to independently carry out basketball exchange activities in combination with the slack farming season, agricultural affairs and folk festivals. The second stage will be from July to September, during which regional competitions will be held. The northern region (held in Dahu Chenjia Village, Jinling Town, Zhaoyuan City, Yantai City, Shandong Province), the central region (held in Xiaomo Village, Gaoleshan Town, Xianfeng County, Hubei Province), and the southern region (held in Aiguo Village, Xiaoping Town, Chenxi County, Hunan Province) will combine their respective regional cultural characteristics. A "Village BA" cultural competition venue that fully showcases different themes. The third stage is the national finals, which will be held in Taipan Village, Taijiang County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou Province in October. In terms of team formation, teams will be formed based on county-level administrative regions to fully leverage the exemplary and leading role of the national "Village BA" competition and further expand the scope of participation.
This competition is guided by the Department of Rural Social Affairs Promotion of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs and the Department of Mass Sports of the General Administration of Sport of China, and is jointly hosted by the Chinese Farmers' Sports Association and the Mass Sports Department of the All-China Sports Federation, with technical support provided by the Chinese Basketball Association.
