In the first semi-final round, the Bijie team and the Tongren team faced off head-on. Both teams were neck and neck, but the Tongren team quickly scored under the basket. The game entered the final period, and the scores of both teams alternated. The Tongren team's offense failed, and the Bijie team tied the score and went into overtime. Subsequently, Bijie team scored first under the basket to reach the game point, and Tongren team quickly scored to win the game.
Zhang Kun, the head coach of the Tongren team and a student from Tongren Nationalities Middle School, said that he was very excited to make it to the championship final on the stage of the "Village Basketball League" in Guizhou. Before going on the court, he learned that the Bijie team was very strong and didn't care about winning or losing, but once on the court, he definitely wanted to win.

In addition to the intense competition, the Qiandongnan Prefecture Song and Dance Troupe opened the show with the dance "Fan Shadow Dance Leap", the Taijiang Miaojiang Art Troupe performed the dance "Red Miao Umbrella", and the Bijie Cheerleading team presented a solo female song "Bonfire". During the intermission, six renowned singers from Yanhe County, Guizhou Province, including Zhang Qiongzhen, performed the song "Not Singing Mountain Songs, Not Being broad-minded". Chen Bin from Weining County, Guizhou Province, and his 13-year-old daughter Chen Sitong brought the Yi ethnic music "Home in Dreams". The Taijiang Miaojiang Art Troupe performed the dance "Soul of Miao", and the Xiu District Bureau of Culture, Sports, Radio, Film and Tourism of Anshun City brought the stunning "Mingyun Tunpu" (Tunpu Local Opera performance) program. While cheering for the participating teams, they also presented a wonderful cheerleading performance for the audience on site.
This league innovatively adopted a "five-level linkage competition system", covering 9 cities (prefectures) and 88 counties (cities) across the province. After going through multiple rounds of selection including the open selection round, the preliminary round, the semi-finals and the provincial regular season, the top two teams from the Guiyang and Tongren regions advanced to the finals. It includes the representative teams of Weining County, Bijie City, Yanhe County, Tongren City, Xiu District, Anshun City and the host team, Taijiang County, Qiandongnan Prefecture.

On the evening of March 29th, the representative team of Tongren City will play against the host team, Qiandongnan, to determine the champion and runner-up of Guizhou Province. The representative team of Bijie will compete against the representative team of Anshun to determine the third and fourth places. Five individual awards including MVP and top scorer will be presented on the spot.
This event is jointly hosted by the Sports Bureau of Guizhou Province and the People's Government of Qiandongnan Prefecture. It aims to promote the in-depth integration of mass fitness, rural revitalization and ethnic culture through sports events, and present a rural sports grand gathering that combines competitiveness and cultural characteristics to the audience.

Cen Jianglong, the director of the village committee of Taipan Village, Taijiang County, Qiandongnan City, Guizhou Province, said that the village BA has been held for the fourth year. Taipan Village is not only a stage for competition but also an important carrier for rural revitalization.
